As Senior Product Development Manager - Knitwear at our Paris Office, you will be responsible for leading the development of our knitwear collections, ensuring the right balance of quality, craftsmanship, cost, and delivery. You will guide your team, build strong supplier partnerships, and contribute to the continued growth of the category.
This is a fixed-term position for a period of one year.

Reporting to the RTW Development Director, you will play a vital role in driving the successful development and execution of the knitwear category from concept to production by:

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As Senior Product Development Manager - Knitwear, your main contribution will be to lead your team in delivering high-quality collections that embody Acne Studios' standards of craftsmanship, innovation, and excellence. Reporting to the RTW Development Director, you will play a vital role in driving the successful development and execution of the knitwear category from concept to production by:
- Leading the knitwear development process in line with quality, cost, sustainability, and delivery targets
- Driving supplier and factory allocation to ensure the highest standards of product execution and profitability
- Overseeing product development from proto to pre-production stage
- Leading fit sessions and providing clear direction on quality, fit, and construction
- Managing costing, margin analysis, and supplier negotiations to achieve commercial targets
- Contributing to sourcing and supplier strategies in line with business objectives
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date product information in PLM
- Managing and monitoring seasonal development budgets
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to meet product and business goals
- Building strong supplier partnerships and managing day-to-day communication, including factory visits
- Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing product development team

Specific experience and knowledge for this role:
- Degree in fashion, textiles, or a related field
- 7+ years' experience in product development
- Strong knitwear product development expertise
- Experience from premium or luxury fashion
- Previous people management experience
- Strong understanding of high-end garment construction
- Proven costing and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Advanced Excel and MS Office skills
- Experience with PLM systems is a plus
