The Position

As part of a newly created position, Audencia is recruiting a faculty member who will serve as Deputy Director of the Grande École Program / Master in Management on the Paris - Saint-Ouen campus, working alongside the Program Director, while continuing to carry out teaching and research activities within the school.

This position is aimed at a candidate holding a doctoral degree who wishes to combine a demanding academic career with strategic managerial experience at the heart of steering one of the school's flagship programs.

Deputy Director Mission - Grande École Program

Within the Grande École Program Direction, and alongside its Director, the Deputy Director will be responsible in particular for ensuring:
• Oversight of all curricula and student matters on the Paris - Saint-Ouen campus
• Management of IN&OUT partnerships (exchange semesters, double degrees, dual competencies) across all campuses
• Follow-up on course evaluations, as well as accreditation requirements and Assurance of Learning (AOL) monitoring
• Representing the program to preparatory classes, partners, and other institutions: visits, hosting, presentations
• Active participation in program-related events: program committees, start-of-year events, admission days, open days, student representative meetings, disciplinary hearings and boards
• Contributing to the program's budget planning and monitoring
• Participation in accreditation, ranking, and quality assurance processes

To carry out this mission, the position holder will work across teams and in close collaboration with all the program direction teams, as well as with Audencia's other internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in French is mandatory.

Teaching and Research Mission

Research

The candidate must hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D.).

In line with the school's strategic priorities, particular attention will be given to applications whose scientific and pedagogical activities take a multidisciplinary approach, connected to contemporary economic, technological, environmental, social, or geopolitical issues.

The candidate must demonstrate publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed international academic journals. They must show their ability to build (or to have already built) a high-level publication track record and to have an impact on the scientific community and beyond.

Teaching

The candidate must demonstrate the ability to effectively teach a range of undergraduate and graduate courses within their field. Courses associated with this position will be taught in French and/or in English.

Candidate Profile
• Doctoral degree (Ph.D.)
• Publications in peer-reviewed international academic journals, or a demonstrated ability to develop a high-level research activity
• Proven experience managing a program or department, or a clear motivation to move into program management
• Ability to work across teams and with multidisciplinary groups
• Excellent communication skills, including with external networks (partners, institutions, preparatory classes)
• Comfortable teaching in English to undergraduate and graduate audiences

Terms of Employment
• Type of contract: permanent, full-time position (faculty recruitment), with negotiable compensation based on profile and experience
• Deputy director mission: contractual, over a renewable 3-year term (with an annual review clause), accompanied by a course-load reduction and/or a mission and performance-related bonus
• Travel to be expected
• Line management: Academic and Research Direction
• Functional reporting line: Grande École Program Direction
