ENTER THE GAME
As a Data Protection intern , you will join the Data Protection Office, under the supervision of the Data Protection Officer (DPO), and contribute to the implementation of data protection regulations across the Group
YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC
During your internship, you will support the Data Protection Office in its day-to-day activities by:
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring dedication, clarity, and collaboration to their work!
This Internship is for you if:
A first experience (internship or apprenticeship) that helped you develop a good understanding of how a company operates would be a plus.
WHAT ARE THE RECRUITMENT STEPS?
If your application is shortlisted, Joe will contact you within a week for an initial HR screening (30 minutes). Then, you will complete the AssessFirst test (personality, motivation and cognitive reasoning).
Next, you will meet Arnaud, DPO, who will be your future mentor.
Finally, Joe will conduct a final HR interview to review your AssessFirst results together.
The recruitment process usually takes around 4 weeks to ensure an optimal experience for you.

YOUR ROLE WITHIN BETCLIC
During your internship, you will support the Data Protection Office in its day-to-day activities by:
- Supporting the management of data subject rights requests in collaboration with the Customer Service team.
- Assisting in the review and drafting of GDPR-related agreements, contractual clauses and privacy documentation in coordination with the Legal Department.
- Helping maintain and update the Group's Record of Processing Activities (RoPA).
- Contributing to privacy compliance reviews for internal projects and business initiatives.
- Supporting the preparation of Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), where applicable.
- Assisting in the development of privacy awareness initiatives, training materials and internal communications to promote a strong data protection culture.
- Conducting legal and regulatory research on data protection, digital regulation and emerging legislation, including the EU AI Act.
- Preparing practical guidance, presentations and compliance documentation for internal stakeholders.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are looking for passionate and curious professionals who bring dedication, clarity, and collaboration to their work!
This Internship is for you if:
- You are a Master's student in Law (preferably with a specialization in IT law, data protection, or business law), Business School, or General Management program
- You have a strong knowledge of GDPR and broader digital regulations, including emerging AI related regulations such as the AI Act
- You are versatile, open-minded, and autonomous in your work
- You enjoy working cross-functionally and have great interpersonal skills
- You are comfortable working in English on a daily basis
