Founding GTM @Verso (backed by Hexa)

Hexa
Paris, Île-de-France 75000, France CDI

Founded in 2025 by Lydia Bellahouel (CEO) and Camille Epitalon (CTO), Verso is backed by Hexa (eFounders), the pioneer European startup studio behind 40+ companies including Front, Aircall and Spendesk.

Consumer research has been slow and expensive for decades. We are building the company that changes that, and we need the person who builds the engine that takes it to market: outbound, inbound, events, the full top of funnel.

About Verso

Verso is an AI-native consumer research platform. Our AI designs the study, interviews real participants one to one over video in any language, and turns those conversations into a structured, evidence-backed report you can interrogate in chat. Days instead of weeks, at a fraction of the cost of a traditional agency, without trading rigor for speed.

We sell to insights, marketing and innovation teams at global brands, with a strong pull from large CPG, beauty, telecom, retail, and the strategy consultancies that serve them. Early clients include Orange, Michelin, Europcar and dsm-firmenich. We are a small team with high standards and one clear thesis: qualitative research is high-signal and badly broken, and AI is finally good enough to fix it.

We start with AI-moderated qualitative research and are building for each client a system of consumer intelligence: every study compounds into a living understanding of their consumers that their teams, and their own AI, can draw on over time.

Lydia spent 7 years at BCG leading AI-powered transformation for consumer brands and knows the buyer's pain from the inside. Camille is an AI expert and a pioneer in agentic systems. Together they built Verso to turn consumer understanding into a real-time advantage for the brands we serve.

The role

We are hiring our Founding GTM to build and own Verso's GTM brain: an AI-driven growth motion where outbound, inbound, and events run on tooling and automation you design, and where each play compounds instead of resetting every quarter.

This is a 360 role. You run outbound, inbound, and events, and you tie them into one motion that feeds pipeline for the founders and the sales hire to close. You do the work yourself, hands on across every channel, and as the team grows you shape what the growth function becomes.

To be clear on the shape of it: you build and run the engine yourself. If you are looking to direct a team rather than do the work, this is not the role.

What you will own
  • Outbound. You build the outbound motion from scratch: target account lists, sequences, the tooling, and the messaging that gets a Head of Insights to reply. You run account-based plays into named enterprise targets and hand qualified pipeline to sales.
  • Inbound. You own the demand side: content, SEO and GEO, the website, lead magnets, and the nurture that turns a reader into a booked demo. You turn Verso's point of view on research into pipeline.
  • Events and field. Conferences, roundtables, dinners, webinars. You decide where our buyers are, get us in front of them, and run the follow-up that turns a handshake into a pilot.
  • The GTM brain. You wire AI through the whole funnel: automation, enrichment, sequencing, growth system, attribution, and the experiments that tell you which channel to scale. You decide what good looks like and make it repeatable, so the motion compounds instead of resetting.
  • Brand and narrative. You work with the founders to sharpen how Verso shows up, so a skeptical researcher meets "rigor, not hype" at every touchpoint.

Who you are
  • You have 4+ years of experience in GTM, with experience building and running a full-funnel growth motion yourself.
  • You know enterprise plays. You have marketed or sold into long, multi-stakeholder cycles, run account-based motions into named accounts, and you understand how a Head of Insights or a CMO actually buys.
  • You are hands-on and comfortable with no playbook. You would rather build the machine than manage one someone else built.
  • You use AI and automation to move faster, experiment more, and operate like a much larger team
  • You are data-driven. You decide what to scale from what the funnel tells you, not from what feels good.
  • Coming from the insights or research world is a plus, not a requirement. What matters is that you have built enterprise pipeline before.
  • You are fluent in French and English.

This role is for you if
  • You want to build a growth engine from the first inputs and own every channel, not inherit one.
  • You are frustrated by how slow and expensive research still is, and you want to take something genuinely different to market.
  • You like doing the work yourself, across every channel rather than one.

This role is not for you if
  • You specialise in one channel and want to stay in it.
  • You need a team and a budget in place before you can perform.
  • You see AI as an incremental feature rather than a real shift in how research gets done.

What makes this role unusual
  • You work directly with the founders, Lydia in particular, and alongside the sales hire, with a clean split: you create pipeline, they close it.
  • You take a differentiated product to a market that has mostly not seen it yet, in a category being defined right now.
  • You build the growth motion your way and see it work fast, because the loop from a study to a closed pilot is short
