À propos du poste
We are seeking a highly motivated Project Support Specialist (PSS) in transcriptomics to lead and coordinate the implementation of a task focused on (single cell/spatial) transcriptomics studies (with an emphasis on integrative approaches) within the European-funded P4Health project.
Based at IGBMC, the PSS will work closely with IGBMC scientific platforms and internal and external experts in integrative analyses of multimodal transcriptomics data to design, plan and develop protocols for such integrative analyses.

• COORDINATION: Defining the scope, objectives, and deliverables of the task in consultation with P4H Principal Investigator at the IGBMC
• COORDINATION: Establishing task timelines and work plans, ensuring alignment with funding requirements and project objectives.
• COORDINATION: Supervision of personnell and monitoring the overall progress of the task, ensuring that milestones and deliverables are achieved on time and within budget.
• COORDINATION: Identifying and addressing any technical, operational, or financial risks that could impact task success.
• COORDINATION: Reporting to the Principal Investigator.
• SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL: Designing and managing spatial and single cell transcriptomic analyses based on the expertise of in-house platforms
• SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL: Preparing detailed protocols and establishing standard operating procedures for study execution, including sample collection, analysis, and data interpretation
• SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL: Coordinating the integration of data to ensure high-quality analysis and reporting
• SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL: Working with scientific teams to adapt methodologies based on project outcomes and emerging challenges.
• SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL: Providing scientific guidance and troubleshooting support to project teams and partners
• Supervising and mentoring junior staff and trainees involved in the project.
• Fostering a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
• Organizing training sessions and knowledge-sharing activities to enhance team and partner expertise

Connaissances
• Understanding of research study design and execution
• General scientific knowledge of animal biology (physiology, anatomy, behavior, genetics, reproduction...), rodent physiology and phenotypic characterization
• Animal research qualification at the 'Concepteur' level
• Excellent proficiency in English (written and spoken)
Savoir-faire
• Experience in transcriptomics analyses, and a willingness to learn and understand analytical pipelines relevant for integrative analyses
• Project management skills, including planning, budgeting, and reporting
• Communication skills, with the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders
• Organizational skills and high level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
