Position Overview
Do you enjoy working on complex solutions that blend systems engineering and software development, with an insatiable appetite for knowledge? Within the Global Sales & Services organization in France, you'll join the PreSales team dedicated to our ALM solutions, working as a PreSales Consultant for our Polarion solution. You'll collaborate with all key stakeholders involved in the sales and deployment process. Every day, you'll apply your expertise to address your clients' product and software development challenges-demonstrating the value of our ALM solutions and building lasting relationships that drive business impact!

Compensation & Benefits
The total cash compensation range for this position is € 55,000 to € 110,000 with approx. 14% of this being comprised of an annual incentive target (100% achievement). The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training. Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
- After analyzing and understanding client needs, demonstrate the value of our ALM solutions by delivering standard or customized demonstrations linked to requirements management, validation & verification, and traceability challenges
- Take on technical responsibility for commercial opportunities by conducting demonstrations, designing and executing Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives, contributing to RFP responses, and participating in customer workshops
- Work in complex environments that blend systems engineering and software development, highlighting cross-domain collaboration, auditability, and the management of both V-cycle and Agile/hybrid approaches
- Actively participate in building value messaging and demonstrations in collaboration with commercial teams, technical teams, and integrator partners
- Support the sales process with technical credibility and strategic guidance to accelerate deal progression and increase success rates
Qualifications
- Technical or scientific background (engineering, computer science, systems, or equivalent), with curiosity and motivation to develop expertise in ALM and requirements management
- Your curiosity and desire to learn enable you to quickly grasp complex topics around requirements management, validation, and traceability
- Strong ability to simplify technical concepts and explain them clearly to diverse audiences-both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Storytelling capability that allows you to articulate the value of complex solutions by connecting them to clients' concrete challenges
- Strong interpersonal skills and genuine enjoyment of teamwork, whether with sales teams, technical teams, or partners
- Fluent in both spoken and written English to thrive in an international environment
