INSEAD is seeking a Oracle Fusion Learning Project Manager to join our Business Transformation Office - Implementation Team. This is a full-time, 5-month contract position (CDD) based at either our Europe Campus in Fontainebleau, France or our Middle East Campus in Abu Dhabi. A hybrid working model is in place - 3 days on campus, 2 days from home.
The Business Transformation Office (BTO), part of INSEAD's Finance and Administration department, plays a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives and delivering operational excellence across the institution. By overseeing transformative projects, the office ensures alignment with organisational goals, streamlines processes, and fosters innovation to support INSEAD's mission of developing the next generation of leaders.

In line with the strategic priorities of the school, the Business Transformation Office (BTO) identifies, assesses, and implements cross department projects to ensure INSEAD becomes more process driven and efficient overall.
The BTO is composed of strategic analytical skills and project managers.
As part of the transformation roadmap, the Horizon transversal project started in June 2023. It spans across multiple core functions of INSEAD, including Human resources. The phase 1 of the Finance transformation roadmap was completed in 2024 with the implementation of core HR, recruitment and performance management (Talent) modules. Phase 2 in 2025 led to the implementation of compensation, skills mapping (Talent) and absences (2 campus only) and 2026 led to the implementation of career and talent management module. The BTO Execution team is currently looking for a temporary project manager to supervise the implementation of the Learning module from October 2026 for-6 months.
This role involves managing the implementation of the learning management module, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering measurable results. The project manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams (mainly HR, Digital, and BTO), stakeholders, and external partners (Oracle) to drive innovation, implement best practices, and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Responsibilities
1. Project Leadership:
- Lead and manage Oracle Learning implementation projects from initiation to closure, ensuring adherence to project scope, timelines, and budget constraints.
- In partnership with Oracle, develop comprehensive project plans, including defining project objectives, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Define ad hoc project team composition on a project need basis and provide strong leadership and direction to project team members throughout the project, fostering collaboration, motivation, and accountability among team members.
- Responsible for planning, meeting organisation and coordination, agenda setting, minutes and deliverables, actions follow up, following up the project in JIRA.
- Understand and steer the Oracle TCM methodology which runs a semi-agile process in sequence with a design phase, 2 rounds of playback testing, and a UAT phase until go live (followed by a hyper care period).
- Supervise the integration of a 3rd party LMS for content (Skillsoft).
2. Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executive committee members and department heads.
- Effectively communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Proactively address stakeholder concerns, manage expectations, and solicit feedback to drive consensus and support for transformation initiatives.
3. Change Management:
- Develop and implement change management strategies to minimize resistance and facilitate smooth adoption of new processes, systems, and organizational structures.
- Identify potential impacts of change on stakeholders and develop mitigation plans to address concerns and ensure successful transition.
- Provide guidance and support to individuals and teams affected by change, offering training, coaching, and resources as needed.
4. Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues that may impact the successful delivery of transformation objectives.
- Develop contingency plans and escalation procedures to address unforeseen challenges and minimize disruption to project timelines and outcomes.
- Regularly monitor and report on project risks and performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize project execution and mitigate potential roadblocks.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement by evaluating existing processes, identifying opportunities for optimization, and implementing best practices and innovative solutions.
- Encourage feedback from project team members and stakeholders to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement in future projects.
6. Quality Assurance:
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality project outcomes that meet or exceed stakeholder expectations and business requirements.
- Establish and enforce BTO project management standards, methodologies, and governance processes to uphold quality and consistency across all transformation initiatives. Contribute to continuous improvement of the BTO standards with the BTO team.
- Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of project deliverables, processes, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with organizational standards and industry regulations.
7. Resource Management:
- Effectively allocate and manage project resources, including budget, personnel, and external vendors, to optimize project outcomes while maintaining cost-efficiency.
- Identify skill gaps within project teams and implement strategies to address resource constraints through recruitment, training, or outsourcing, in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Monitor resource utilization and workload distribution to prevent burnout and ensure equitable participation and contribution from team members.
The ideal candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Certification in project management (e.g., ACP, PMP, PRINCE2) and change management (e.g., Prosci) preferred.
- Proven experience (5-10 years) in implementing Oracle Fusion Learning Management preferred
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and change management principles.
- Proficiency with Project management software (JIRA, MPP)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and a track record of driving results in complex, dynamic environments
- Experience in Learning Management platform implementation (SAP, Oracle, Workday...) highly desirable.
- Experience in the higher education sector or industries undergoing significant transformation (e.g., technology, healthcare, finance) is advantageous.
