Manager Comissioning

As a Commissioning Manager, you will play a key role in delivering mission-critical data center facilities. Working closely with project teams, clients, contractors and equipment suppliers, you will lead and coordinate all commissioning activities throughout the project lifecycle. Your technical expertise and leadership skills will ensure that systems are tested, validated and handed over safely, efficiently and in accordance with the highest quality standards.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Lead and manage the complete commissioning process across all commissioning levels (Level 1-5), from planning through execution and final handover.
• Develop, implement and maintain commissioning strategies, schedules and procedures aligned with project requirements.
• Coordinate and manage all internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, vendors, OEMs, engineering teams and clients.
• Review and approve technical designs, system specifications, commissioning plans and test procedures for MEP systems.
• Oversee and supervise functional testing, integrated systems testing and performance verification activities.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during commissioning activities.
• Monitor commissioning progress, documentation and reporting to ensure compliance with project objectives and quality requirements.
• Ensure all commissioning activities are executed in full compliance with EHS standards and project safety requirements.
• Manage commissioning-related observations, punch list items and non-conformities through to successful closure.
• Support client inspections, witness testing and final handover activities to achieve full client satisfaction.

Show your expertise

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Science & Technology, or a related discipline.
• Extensive professional experience in commissioning, including leadership responsibility on complex construction, industrial or mission-critical projects.
• Proven experience delivering commissioning activities for data centers or other mission-critical facilities.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning methodologies, industry standards, regulations and certification requirements.
• Solid understanding of MEP systems and integrated building services within complex technical environments.
• Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to drive issue resolution in a fast-paced project environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multicultural teams and client organizations.
• Professional proficiency in both English and French is required.
• Additional languages, particularly German, are considered an advantage.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required by project needs.
