Job Description
The Human Resources Manager partners with business and human resources functional leadership in the planning and implementation of human resources initiatives and policies for the French subsidiary in Quimper. He/She leads a broad range of human resources processes and is responsible for overall operational effectiveness and compliance with company policies and applicable legislation. The HR Manager ensures the quality of social dialogue and manages and coaches the local HR team.

He/She leads a broad range of human resources processes and is responsible for overall operational effectiveness and compliance with company policies and applicable legislation. The HR Manager ensures the quality of social dialogue and manages and coaches the local HR team.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leadership to translate current and future business goals and develop initiatives and tactics to meet business objectives in alignment with overall human resources strategies and processes;
- Partner with Managers and Employees on various HR issues, resolve conflicts and provide coaching and counseling on human resources matters;
- Ensure compliance with key government legislative requirements and adherence to human resources policies and procedures;
- Conduct and lead Social Relations and Collective Negotiations with the Employee Representatives (DS, CSE/ CSSCT, trade unions) and ensure implementation and legal follow-up of the collective bargaining agreements;
- Oversee the HR administrative management and ensure accuracy and completeness of workforce information in human resources information systems;
- Implement and support work systems and an environment that allows employees to achieve high performance;
- Analyze KPI's, consolidate reporting tools (social dashboards, KPIs, BDESE, requests for external expertise) and prepare the HR budget (evolution of the Gross Wage Bill, Skills Development Plan);
- Communicate and consult on all HR areas including compensation, benefits, staffing, organizational development, employee relations, and performance management in alignment with common human resources strategies and processes;
- Coach and mentor direct reports - assign work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs, assess performance and provide feedback to direct reports;
- Guarantee the application of social regulations and the employer's legal obligations (Labour Code, Collective Agreements, internal regulations);
- Steer, deploy, monitor and/or define HR projects and policies within the framework of the strategy defined by Atmus and ensure all HR procedures are applied by operational and functional staff;
- Establish strategies with business leaders to select and retain the diverse talent required to maintain a competitive advantage and to align with recruiting strategies;
- Organize the collection of training needs, define the strategic training orientations, develop the Skills Development Plan and supervise its implementation;
- Carry out economic, legal and social monitoring (monitoring HR strategies of companies in the sector);
- Conduct and document investigations for business organizations or functional areas.
Qualifications
- Bac +5 level diploma in human resources management and/or significant experience in the field.
- Strong knowledge of local French labor law and the various areas of human resources management.
- Fluency in English and French - written and oral
- Proven experience in Labor Relations, including Union negotiations is required
