About the Role
The Associate Recruiting Coordinator is an integral part of Latham's Associate Recruiting team in the Paris office. This role will support the full recruitment lifecycle for interns, trainee lawyers, and associates in a high-activity environment requiring strong organisation, attention to detail, professionalism, and a service-oriented approach. This role will be located in our Paris office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

About the Role
The Associate Recruiting Coordinator is an integral part of Latham's Associate Recruiting team in the Paris office. This role will support the full recruitment lifecycle for interns, trainee lawyers, and associates in a high-activity environment requiring strong organisation, attention to detail, professionalism, and a service-oriented approach. This role will be located in our Paris office. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Screening applications, including CVs and cover letters, and identifying relevant practice groups
- Managing candidate communications in line with the firm's standards, while handling confidential information with discretion
- Coordinating interview schedules with candidates, lawyers, and internal stakeholders, and following up to ensure timely feedback
- Preparing and issuing internship offers, and supporting onboarding process
- Maintaining recruiting tracking tools and candidate databases accurately and consistently
- Supporting employer branding initiatives and academic partnerships, including coordination with law schools and other recruiting contacts
- Promoting effective work practices, and working as a team member
We'd love to hear from you if you:
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Possess excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a high-activity environment
- Demonstrate a high level of discretion, attention to detail, and professionalism when handling sensitive information
And have:
- Experience in recruitment, preferably in a law firm environment
- A bachelor's or master's degree in HR, law, business, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
- Experience utilising an application tracking system to manage and track recruitment processes
