About this opportunity
As an HR Operations Specialist, you support the administration and delivery of HR policies and programs, ensuring accurate processing of HR activities and providing operational support to employees, managers and the HR Team. You apply established HR processes and procedures to help maintain efficient and compliant HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the resolution of employee and manager inquiries through the HR case management tool, escalating complex issues when appropriate.
- Administer employee benefits processes, including collecting documentation and submitting employee information and status changes to benefit vendors or brokers.
- Prepare and submit payroll-related inputs for assigned countries and support payroll validation activities.
- Provide guidance to employees on standard HR processes and policies, including benefits administration, leave requests, payroll-related questions and employee documentation.
- Maintain employee records and HR documentation in HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, completeness and confidentiality, particularly within Workday.
- Support compliance activities, audits, record reviews and recurring HR reporting requirements.
- Generate standard and ad hoc reports as requested to support HR operational activities.
- Identify operational issues and escalate process concerns to senior team members, Payroll or HR partners as appropriate.
- Assist HRBPs and Payroll teams with day-to-day employment-related administrative matters.
- Support onboarding activities, HR Operations training sessions and employee communications for assigned countries.
- Provide operational support and coverage for other countries or team members when required.
- Maintain and update employee lifecycle and process documentation on the HR Operations SharePoint site.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
- Typically, 2-4 years of HR Operations, HR Administration or related experience.
- Experience working with HRIS systems; Workday experience preferred.
- Fluent in French and English. Arabic and additional EU languages would be a plus
- Basic understanding of employment legislation and HR policies.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to follow established processes and procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Willingness to learn and develop HR functional expertise.
