Relationship Manager (Inbound Portfolio) - Global Network Banking (f/m/d)

What you will do:

You will manage a portfolio of Global Network Banking customers across Europe, ensuring excellent service delivery, effective risk management and strong operational discipline. Working closely with Global Relationship Managers/Bankers and specialist teams, you'll coordinate servicing needs across credit & lending, cash management and global trade solutions, while ensuring fair outcomes and compliance with HSBC standards.

In this role you will:
  • Maintain a high standard of client relationships and develop strategies for superior customer service.
  • Collaborate with Global Relationship Managers/Bankers to ensure seamless delivery of service in Europe.
  • Maintain customer engagement and deliver fair outcomes for the customer.
  • Deliver high-quality service and ensure early identification and resolution of problems.
  • Maintain active client calling and record call reports/interactions in the Client Management
  • Experience (CME) tool.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable operational risk standards and policies, and report breaches in line with local procedures.
  • Refer new product sales queries or complex servicing requests to dedicated specialist support teams across the region.
  • Monitor credit risk (including concern lists and credit control reports) and analyse management information.
  • Manage financial crime risk throughout the client lifecycle, supported by Team Leads, GRMs/GRBs and ISB/MNC Market Heads.
  • Complete Customer Due Diligence (CDD) accurately, including FCRR and KYC, preparing the CDD Risk Support Statement and escalating red flags where appropriate.


You should apply if you have:
  • Experience in a client-focused environment (commercial banking exposure is a plus).
  • Strong business acumen with economic, cultural and regulatory awareness.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working across geographies.
  • Strong analytical skills; credit assessment exposure is an advantage.
  • A disciplined approach to operational risk and policy adherence.
  • Fluent English (required).
