INSEAD is seeking a Senior Manager, Human Resources (HR Business Partnering) to join our Human Resources team. This is a full-time, permanent position that can be based in either our Europe campus in Fontainebleau, France, or our Asia campus in Singapore.

You will play a pivotal role in supporting the Senior Director, Business Partnering, in delivering a consistent, high-quality HR experience across INSEAD's global campuses for dedicateddepartments. Beyond providing operational HR support to the Senior Director, you will help strengthen HR proximity and support for staff below Leadership Team level.

As a trusted partner to managers and employees, you will drive HR operational excellence across the full employee lifecycle, including talent management and people development initiatives. You will work closely with HR Shared Services, Centres of Expertise, and business leaders to ensure HR practices remain efficient, people-centred, and aligned with organisational priorities.

Your role within the team
  • Partner with managers in dedicated departments to provide expert guidance on HR policies, employee relations matters and people-related decisions.
  • Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned departments, delivering timely, practical and solution-oriented HR support.
  • Coordinate and support annual performance review, salary review and talent management cycles.
  • Drive onboarding, learning and development, skills mapping and capability-building initiatives.
  • Collaborate on talent reviews and succession planning activities to strengthen organisational capability.
  • Oversee employee lifecycle processes, including recruitment, onboarding, promotions, transfers and exits.
  • Support absenteeism management and facilitate successful reintegration of employees returning from extended leave.
  • Ensure HR data integrity and compliance through effective use of HRIS and collaboration with HR Operations teams.
  • Foster consistency, continuous improvement and operational excellence across HR processes and practices globally.

The ideal candidate profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Approximately 5+ years of HR Generalist experience within an international environment, with broad exposure across the employee lifecycle, and 10 years of professional experience.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, processes, employment legislation and HR systems.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across functions and cultures.
  • Strong organisational and project management capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Digitally savvy, with a genuine interest in how AI and emerging technologies are reshaping HR - from streamlining operational processes to enhancing the employee experience.
  • Fluent in both English and French.
  • Passionate about supporting internal clients and take ownership of delivering timely, thoughtful and effective HR solutions.
