Context & Environment

You will join TotalEnergies' Subsurface community, supporting the Company's exploration, field development, and reservoir management activities worldwide

As part of integrated multidisciplinary teams comprising geoscientists, drilling engineers, production engineers, and facilities specialists, you will contribute to transforming subsurface and production data into value-creating decisions throughout the entire field life cycle.

Your activities will include dynamic reservoir simulation, reservoir management, surveillance and monitoring, performance analysis, and hydrocarbon recovery optimization.

Activities

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Building, maintaining, and enhancing dynamic reservoir simulation models.
  • Performing field appraisal and development studies.
  • Analyzing production, pressure, and surveillance data.
  • Evaluating development and injection scenarios.
  • Contributing to production and recovery forecasts.
  • Participating in history matching and model validation activities.
  • Identifying and assessing uncertainties associated with reservoir behavior.
  • Optimizing recovery strategies and field development plans.
  • Integrating geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and production data into reservoir studies.
  • Deploying digital solutions and innovative approaches to support reservoir management.


Candidate Profile

You hold a Master's degree or PhD in Reservoir Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Geosciences, or a related discipline, with 3 to 7 years of professional experience in reservoir engineering.

We are seeking candidates with expertise in at least one of the following areas:

  • Reservoir simulation and reservoir management.
  • Reservoir surveillance and well performance optimization.


You have:

  • Experience in dynamic reservoir simulation.
  • Experience in reservoir and well performance analysis.
  • Knowledge of reservoir management and reservoir surveillance.
  • The ability to integrate geological, geophysical, petrophysical, and production data.
  • An interest in digital solutions applied to reservoir management.
  • Professional proficiency in English (C1 level).
  • Willingness and ability to undertake national and international assignments.


You are recognized for your ability to apply your reservoir engineering experience to a broad range of reservoir simulation, surveillance, and reservoir management challenges, while progressively expanding your scope beyond a single area of specialization.
