Junior Business Controller

The Junior Business Unit Controller supports the financial performance management of the Business Unit through reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Acting as a business partner to operational teams, the role contributes to informed decision-making and continuous improvement of finance processes and reporting tools.

Core Tasks

• Assist operations on a day-to-day basis for any finance-related matters.
• Review actual results, projections by nature and destination with operations, and update the forecast accordingly.
• Ensure budgetary analysis and presentations are prepared on a timely basis.
• Participate in the process of implementing new procedures.
• Participate in the process of developing management/reporting tools that help to monitor the business unit performance, i.e., dashboards, OPEX report file for operations.
• Perform ad hoc financial analyses for management.

Skills & Qualifications

• Good communication skills and good interpersonal skills (the role involves interaction with operational teams)
• Willingness to learn and adapt to Dixstone financial model
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration
• Between 0 - 3 years of experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Languages: English, French
