MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THE POSITION

Prepare unloading and loading instructions
• Collect operational data of the flight to be processed and its specificities.
• Plan unloading and loading.
• Establish the forecast load state: provisional mass and balance estimate.
• Establish unloading and loading instructions.

Finalize loading and balancing documents and compile the flight file on internal DCS and Loadform
• Collect information to adjust loading and balancing of flights in real time (evolution of cargo in hold and cabin, alerts from the information system, last-minute changes...).
• Establish the mass and balance estimate based on the flight closure elements.
• Communicate with the Captain on the final load state and last-minute changes for validation.
Coordinate the different phases of aircraft handling on departure and arrival
• Ensure crew shuttle operations.
• Verify the presence of different stakeholders and equipment.
• Coordinate activities of stakeholders around the aircraft.
• Supervise passenger boarding / disembarkation, loading / unloading, fueling, and incident management operations.
• Monitor intervention deadlines of different teams.
• Check compliance, quality, and safety of aircraft service operations: hotel loading, fueling, water and waste disposal... as well as security measures (baggage reconciliation).
• Alert the supervisor in case of malfunction or anomaly.
• Interact with air navigation services to determine take-off and landing slots.
• Position jet bridges.
• Perform headset communications.

Check the loading
• Check compliance of baggage or cargo loading / unloading operations with the loading plan(s) and current procedures.

Communicate with cabin crew
• Edit and transmit the flight file to cabin crew.
• Inform the Captain about flight specifics and any incidents.

Transmit information and ensure document processing at the end of intervention
• Update flight information for other stops or other stakeholders in the airport operation chain.
• Compile, classify, and archive the flight file.
• Write reports.

Communicate with airlines and airport manager
• Respond to assistance requests and customer airlines.

Prepare information bulletins for the manager

Ensure compliance with safety rules and security measures
• Report safety or security-related events.

REQUIRED SKILLS / JOB REQUIREMENTS
• The position requires one to two years of professional experience in the field or profession.
• Proficiency in dedicated computer tools (e.g., Office Suite, internal software, airline software, etc.).
• Mastery of airline procedures.
• Proficiency in professional English in the field of activity.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / CERTIFICATIONS / MANDATORY ACCREDITATIONS
• The position requires a Bachelor's degree, obtained in the specialty or equivalent training.
• Holder of a driver's license.
• Holder of certifications related to the activity (e.g., vehicle driving).
• Acquisition and mastery of mandatory authorizations and accreditations.

POSITION CHARACTERISTICS AND ENVIRONMENT
• The profession is practiced in regulated areas and requires administrative authorizations.
• Shift work including weekends and holidays.
• Mainly outdoor work.
• Wearing professional attire and safety equipment is mandatory.
• Compliance with the "Uniform Charter" is mandatory (uniform, presentation, behavior).
