We are seeking a proactive engineer with technical experience and interest in RF and Signal Processing systems. You will partner with our most innovative customers to establish MATLAB and Simulink as a digital engineering platform for radar systems and digital communication systems engineering that will include:
  • Signal processing for phased array radars and beamforming systems
  • Prototyping and implementing designs on CPUs, DSPs, and FPGAs
  • AI (Artificial Intelligence) for Radar/Wireless communication
  • RF Front-End

You will work with our customers to identify and understand their technical and business challenges. You will drive technical engagements that enable our customers to attain their goals by adopting MathWorks solutions. You will also engage strategically with customers in developing long-term adoption plans that will enable them to progressively roll out increasingly productive workflows in their organizations.

Using your technical expertise as well as your excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, you will engage customers and prospects to develop a shared vision for success.

This position is based in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France.

Responsibilities

As a technical member of the sales team, you will be responsible for interacting with prospective customers, generating excitement, confidence, and passion for the usage of MathWorks tools within their organization for whole workflow from algorithm exploration to deployment.
  • Lead engagements with customers by presenting MathWorks' tools capabilities, vision, and lead them by defining technical proof of concept projects and driving them forward
  • Work closely with sales and other customer-facing staff to provide technical guidance for successful adoption of MathWorks tools
  • Build instant credibility in front of customers by leveraging the industry experience and serve as a primary advisor to select customers for technical engagement
  • Increase awareness of MathWorks' tools capabilities by delivering marketing events such as public seminars, webinars
  • Advocate for the future direction of MathWorks products based on customer interactions
  • Partner with Sales to develop and drive shared account goals/objectives aligned with the customer's vision of success.
  • Drive thought leadership by showcasing MathWorks' tools and vision, shaping innovative engineering workflows, and spearheading technical proof of concept initiatives to accelerate engineering progress.


Minimum Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree and 6 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 3 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
  • Candidates must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Candidates for this position must be authorized to work in France.


Additional Qualifications

  • Fluency in French and English
  • MS Engineering or science degree + industry experience
  • Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in the design and development of signal processing systems (Radar or Wireless Comms)
  • Experience with DSPs or FPGAs
  • Experience with lab & test equipment
  • MATLAB or Simulink experience

Plus:
  • Experience in a relevant technical industry (e.g. Aerospace, Defense, Communication/Electronics)
  • Experience in a customer facing role (Marketing, Application Engineering, Consulting, Training, Tech Support, etc.)
